hes playing music but hes not playing musically, really, he doesnt have any beat or tempo what so ever, but when hes playing in a real song hes awsome

wow i gotta admit i was pretty disappointed with this. after all the talk about how he's so good, and you hear how sloppy he is. the faster he plays, the worse his timing is. it kind of hurts the ears. if you want to hear excellent tempo with speed you gotta watch degrassio's solo in megadeths live performance of she wolf. amazing.

nah, i dont hate him, i just dont think that he is THE best drummer that ever lived, as alot of people tend to believe he is.

oh i thought you were just one of those people that hated him with a passion lol. It seems like many metal drum solos are kind of bland... I respect Joey much more at playing fills and his beats. Portnoy is personally my favorite solo"er".

oh yea i know hes a good drummer no doubt, its just like you said, his solos are bland and boring to me. yea he is better than Travis ?barker and alot of guys. i was just commenting on his solos, cuz they ARE bland...But Fast! lol

i agree with you in some cases about joey, his solos are kinda bland but that being a good drummer doesn't only rely on what u use in your kit or how your solos are. Listen to some of the songs and you will realize that his fills are crazy. Also he doesn't have a whole lot of "style", but he is very fast which is another reason us maggots like him so much. Speed is cool if you ask me. Jordison is not a bad drummer, hes better then barker or those other crappy punk drummers.
